The Ocean State Presidential Classic is a partner event to the long-running Tier I Paul D. Merritt Holiday Classic (15U - 18U) and the Ocean State Snowman Showdown, which takes place on MLK weekend each year featuring 10U and 8U teams. In each of its first two years, this event brought teams from 8 states to Rhode Island for a great weekend! 

Our goal with all our events is to make them “old school, fun, family” hockey events — think giveaways, contests, mascots, pizza parties, balloons, awards, and more. Rhode Island is called the Ocean State for a reason, and we hope you make it a family weekend of fun and cool experiences, wrapped around some great hockey!

We are a “stay and play” event and have a top-end lodging partner in Jim McGuire and his staff at Blue Blazer Events Group. All visiting teams must go through Jim for their hotel needs.
