Overspeed Hockey Schools prides itself on its philosophy that only the instructors below will lead the on-ice activities. This ensures that the message to all players is consistent and worthy of our commitment to you. In addition to the Instructors listed below, Overspeed Hockey Schools utilizes select elite players to assist in demonstrations.


Randy Jordan

Randy is a USA Hockey Certified Masters Level coach. He has been successfully running clinics and hockey programs for 30 years, and has pioneered director positions and established new growth philosophies as the Director of Hockey Operations for the Wilmette Hockey Association (WIlmette, IL) and Lake Forest High School programs (Lake Forest, IL) . In addition, Randy has coached at successful Team Illinois and Wilmette programs and has been involved in too many championship teams to list. Prior to moving to the Chicago area, Randy was born and raised in the Vancouver, B.C. area. He played on three straight Junior championship teams that was coached by one of the first coaches in Canada to incorporate the top European training and team systems of development. After his sparkling hockey career was cut short through injuries, he coached all levels including an elite camp for Juniors players seeking to enter the NHL. Randy is very passionate about assisting players who really want to perfect the five fundamental skills and to have fun doing it.

Dave Glick

Dave is a USA Hockey Certified Advanced Level Coach. He is currently the Assistant Coach for the Lake Forest High School Varsity Hockey Team. Dave has also coached at Highland Park Falcons, Lake County Atoms (Lake County, IL) and was a Hockey Instructor at Twin Rinks (Buffalo Grove, IL) and the Northbrook Park District (Northbrok, IL ). Dave has coached Mite through High School aged players. Dave has played hockey for almost 30 years and loves to help players realize and reach their maximum potential on and off the ice.

Paul Novak

Paul is a USA Hockey certified Master Level Coach.  He is the Hockey Director and Boys Varsity Head Coach for the Warren Blue Devils.  He was named the Illinois High School Coach of the Year for 2006. Prior to Warren Paul spent one season with Lake Forest Academy and three with Lake Forest High School where both programs made significant strides in a very short time. Paul has played hockey for almost 20 years and loves to help players who have the passion to become better hockey players.
